Last week was Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2017 and what a week it was! With Dion Lee opening the week with a spectacular show at the Sydney Opera House and several other stunning shows from Australian designers including C/Meo Collective, Bec and Bridge, Ellery and Romance was Born.
I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Mercedes Benz Fashion Weekend on the Friday before jetting off to Townsville for 24 hours and made the most of the fashion and fun amidst the rainy weather.
My day started with a Rag Traders Panel with Jasmin Howell from Friend in Fashion, Sara Donaldson from Harper and Harley and Nadia Bartel from Chronicles of Nadia. Three incredible women who have each built their own successful brands and came together to discuss all things related to blogging and being a “digital influencer”. I was incredibly inspired by their individual stories and simple yet strategic approach to fashion, business and marketing.
In the evening followed a spectacular fashion show by my Aussie fave; Alice McCall presenting her Capsule Resort collection. Sitting front row was an incredible experience and the best possible way to view her stunning range.
